Pre-Tour: Ruta de la Independencia de México

Join This 7 Day Great Adventure!
Minimum registration: 30 people
Day 1, February 20th: Reception at the airport of Mexico city and transfer to the Hotel in Mexico City.
 
Day 2, February 21st: Breakfast and departure to the magic town of Peña de Bernal, Qro. and admire its rock or monolith, considered the 3rd biggest worldwide. (Food on your own)
Return to Querétaro city and visit it by Tourist Tram, touring the main points of the city. Later, through the Historical Center, visiting its main squares and the Casa de la Corregidora. Lodging in Queretaro at the planned hotel.
 
Day 3, February 22nd: Breakfast and departure to San Miguel de Allende, 1 hour 15 minutes, by tram to visit the city, El Chorro and El Mirador. Then contiune to Dolores Hidalgo, magical town and cradle of independence where we will visit the Independence Garden, Nuestra Señora de Dolores Parish, Callejón Casiano Exiga and Independence Museum. Free time to eat (on your own).
The journey will continue in the City of Guanajuato. On the way, we will visit the Sanctuary of Atotonilco, place where the priest Miguel Hidalgo took his banner for his struggle for independence. (Accommodation in Guanajuato).
 
Day 4, February 23rd: After breakfast, departure in bus.
Visit the Bocamina San Ramón, San Cayetano de la Valenciana Temple, Museum of the Mummies with Cult of Death, El Pipila, and the Alhóndiga accompanied by a tourist guide. Food (on your own) and free time to make purchases for those who wish to stay at the center, or return to the hotel.
At night, you are suggested to take a tour through its alleys accompanied by a “Callejoneada" student tuna.
 
Day 5, February 24th: Breakfast and departure with luggage to Guadalajara. Visit the magical town of Tlaquepaque. Food (on your own). Afternoon to explore its streets, alleys and square. Departure at the end of the afternoon towards the hotel in Guadalajara and accommodation.
 
Day 6, February 25th: Breakfast and visit the historic center, a tourist bus will take a tour of the main areas of Guadalajara. Food (on your own) At the end of the tour, we will visit the Hospicio Cabañas Museum.
Afterwards we will walk through the famous San Juan de Dios market, Historical Center, Tapatía square towards the Cathedral, and Plaza de Armas. At the indicated time, we will return to the hotel.
 
Day 7, February 26th: Breakfast and transfer to the airport to take your flight to Monterrey. (Air ticket not included).

Post-Tour: Chiapas Histórico

Day 1, March 2nd: Arrive to Chiapas on Monday March 2nd, Canyon of the Sumidero-Chiapa de Corzo – SAN CRISTOBAL
Departure at 2:00pm
Reception at the Tuxtla Gutierrez airport and we will move to the Sumidero Canyon where we will take a boat trip on the Grijalva River to explore it, where you can admire different wild animals of the area, such as crocodiles, spider monkeys and buzzards. At the end, we will visit Chiapa de Corzo a magical town that exalts the Chiapas customs, full of colorful cobbled streets, markets full of folklore, as well as emblematic monuments of the community. Finally, we go to San Cristóbal, free afternoon.
Day 2, March 3rd: San Cristóbal, San Juan Chamula, Zinacantán. Travel to visit indigenous communities, free afternoon for shopping or visiting the city.
Departure at 9:30 am, return approximately at 1:30 pm.
We start from San Cristobal de las Casas towards Zinancatan community, place of bats where we will visit a family and watch the women work with the waist loom, a Pre-Hispanic activity. We will see all the place crafts to either buy or just accompany the guide where he will explain all the history of them. We will taste Pox, a traditional drink and we´ll enter the kitchen to see the elaboration of tortillas made by hand, in a stove. Later, we visit San Juan Chamula, a Mayan town where the population speaks the Tsotsil language. Inside the church, we will see rituals and ceremonies performed by the village Xamanes, a mixture of religion with very old traditions and customs. At the end we will have the afternoon free in San Cristobal.
Day 3, March 4th: Agua Azul  and Misol-ha Waterfalls.
Departure at 9:00 am and finish 5:00 pm approximately.
In the morning, we will go to Palenque, making the first stop in the Cascadas de Agua Azul park, a natural complex that creates the currents of the Otulún, Shumuljá and Tulijá rivers, forming deep canyons with vertical cliffs, where you can swim and enjoy the different areas that make up the complex. Then, we will continue to the Misol-Ha waterfall, which with its 40 meters high, and surrounded by high tropical rainforest, that make this a beautiful and refreshing place. At the end we will move to Palenque Chiapas.
Day 4, March 5th: Archeological Area of Bonampak and Yaxchilan.
Departure: 05:30 am and we finish 6:30 pm approximately.
On this day we begin our activities very early to head towards the Lacandon Jungle, breakfast included in route. Upon arriving at Frontera Corozal, we will take a motorboat on the Usumacinta river to reach our destination, which is the archaeological zone of Yaxchilán, after this visit we will return to Frontera Corozal to take the food (included) in the same place and later head towards the archaeological zone of Bonampak and finally at the end of the visit we go back to Palenque.
Day 5, March 6th: Palenque Archeological Area.
Departure 8:00 am
After breakfast we will move to the great city of Palenque. This city stands out for its architectural and sculptural heritage; where we can admire several constructions such as the palace, the temple of the Cruz Foliada , the temple of the Sun among others. At the end we will move back and will have the afternoon free.
Day 6, March 7th: Transport to Villahermosa Airport
to end our visit to our beautiful state of Chiapas, you will be transferred to Villahermosa airport to take the flight at the specified time.
