Flight Notes:
All tours need a minimum number of registered participants to make the tour possible.
Please register for the tour directly with the tour company, but please wait to purchase your airline ticket until the tour is confirmed!
The tour agencies will contact registered participants by January 5th, 2020.
If a tour is canceled due to a lack of participation, they will refund 100% of the tour payment.
Do not buy airline tickets until after confirmation from the tour agency!

Day 1, February 20th: Reception at the airport in Mexico City and transfer to the Hotel near the airport by private transport. Accommodation and free time.
 
Day 2, February 21st: Early breakfast and departure with a private guide to the Magic Town of Peña de Bernal, Qro. and admire the “Peña Bernal”, considered the 3rd biggest worldwide monolith in the world. (Lunch included).
We continue to Querétaro city and visit it in a Van Sprinter, touring the main city points. Later, we will walk through the Historical Center, visiting its main squares and the Casa de la Corregidora. Lodging in Provided Hotel in Querétaro.
 
Day 3, February 22nd: Breakfast and departure to San Miguel de Allende, 1 hour 15 minutes, to visit the city, El Chorro and El Mirador. Then continue to Dolores Hidalgo, magical town and cradle of independence where we will visit the Independence Garden, Nuestra Señora de Dolores Parish, Callejón Casiano Exiga and Independence Museum. Lunch included.
The journey will continue in the City of Guanajuato. On the way, we will visit the Sanctuary of Atotonilco, a place where the priest Miguel Hidalgo took his banner for his struggle for independence. (Accommodation in Guanajuato).
 
 
Day 4, February 23rdAfter breakfast, we will visit the Bocamina San Ramón, San Cayetano de la Valenciana Temple, Museum of the Mummies with Cult of Death, El Pipila, and the Alhóndiga. Lunch included and time for shopping and you may choose to stay downtown or return to the hotel. At night, you are suggested to take a tour through its alleys accompanied by a “Callejoneada" student tuna.
 
Day 5, February 24th: Breakfast and departure with luggage to Guadalajara. Visit the magical town of Tlaquepaque. Lunch included. During the evening, we will walk along its streets, alleys, and square. Later, we will move our hotel to Guadalajara.
 
Day 6, February 25th: Breakfast and visit the historic center, a Turibus will be boarded to tour the main areas of Guadalajara. Lunch included. At the end of the tour, we will visit the Hospicio Cabañas Museum.
Afterward we will walk through the famous San Juan de Dios market, Historical Center, Tapatía square towards the Cathedral, and Plaza de Armas. At the indicated time, we will return to the hotel.
 
Day 7, February 26th: Breakfast and transfer to the airport to take your flight to Monterrey. (Air ticket not included). End of tour.

Post-Tour: Chiapas Histórico

Important note:
Soon we will announce a change in the 5th-day accommodation hotel. It will be in Villahermosa, not in Palenque. The idea is you could spend your last night near the airport, and take your flight in the early morning.
 
Flight information:
If you´re planning to fly to Chiapas on Monday, March 2nd, it´s important to mention that the only available flight from Monterrey to Chiapas is in AEROMEXICO airlines on Monday at 7:30 am, arriving at 12:00pm. Remember this tour begins at 2:00 pm.

Day 1, March 2nd: Arrive to Chiapas on Monday, March 2nd, Canyon of the Sumidero-Chiapa de Corzo – SAN CRISTOBAL
Departure at 2:00pm
Reception at the Tuxtla Gutierrez airport and we will move to the Sumidero Canyon where we will take a boat trip on the Grijalva River to explore it, where you can admire different wild animals of the area, such as crocodiles, spider monkeys, and buzzards. In the end, we will visit Chiapa de Corzo a magical town that exalts the Chiapas customs, full of colorful cobbled streets, markets full of folklore, as well as emblematic monuments of the community. Overnight in San Cristóbal.
 
Day 2, March 3rd: San Cristóbal, San Juan Chamula, Zinacantán. Travel to visit indigenous communities, free afternoon for shopping or visiting the city.
We start from San Cristobal de las Casas towards Zinancatan community, place of bats where we will visit a family and watch the women work with the waist loom, a Pre-Hispanic activity. We will see all the place crafts to either buy or just accompany the guide where he will explain all the history of them. We will taste Pox, a traditional drink and we´ll enter the kitchen to see the elaboration of tortillas made by hand, in a stove. Later, we visit San Juan Chamula, a Mayan town where the population speaks the Tsotsil language. Inside the church, we will see rituals and ceremonies performed by the village Xamanes, a mixture of religion with very old traditions and customs. We will be back to San Cristobal for lunch. In the end, we will have the afternoon free in San Cristobal. Overnight in San Cristobal.
 
Day 3, March 4th:
Teopisca, Comitpan, Montbello Lakes, El Chiflon Waterfalls. Travel visits the magnificent of our nature, lakes, waterfalls and traditional towns.
Departure at 7:30 am, return approximately at 10:00 pm
We start from San Cristobal to Teopisca Town, after breakfast we continue towards the Montebello lakes, tziscao lake, and the border with Guatemala, we will have the opportunity to do a trip in a traditional wood “balsa” and to have a traditional lunch.
We will continue to the Waterfalls El Chiflon, where we will be able to walk 2 km in a trail following it until arriving to the waterfall and if you feel like, you will have time to swim. After we will visit Comitán de Dominguez town for dinner (no included). Overnight in San Cristobal.
 
Day 4, March 5th: Palenque Archeological Area.
Departure: 07:30 am and we finish at 6:00 pm approximately.
In the morning, we transfer to Villahermosa and visit the colossal Olmeca heads and continue to Palenque the great Maya civilization. This city stands out for its architectural and sculptural heritage; where we can admire several constructions such as the palace, the temple of the Cruz Foliada, the temple of the Sun among others. Overnight in Palenque.
 
Day 5, March 6th: Agua Mitzul and Misol-Ha Waterfalls.
Prepare your camera and the bathing suit to enjoy nature and waterfalls.
Departure at 9:00 am and finishes at 5:00pm approximately. Visit the waterfalls Agua Azul, a natural complex that creates the currents of the Otulún, Shumuljá and Tulijá rivers, forming deep canyons with vertical cliffs, where you can swim and enjoy the different areas that make up the complex. Then, we will continue to the Misol-ha waterfall, which with its 40 meters high, and surrounded by a high tropical rainforest, that makes this a beautiful and refreshing place. In the end, we will move to Villahermosa.
 
Day 6, March 7th:
Villahermosa, Tabasco airport to take the flight back home.
